Capt. Fred Rossiter
A Professional Profile
Capt. Fred Rossiter has been fishing all of his life. Like many anglers, Fred started fishing for Bluegills when he was about 6 years old... then Bass, Perch and other small fish. Visits to Wisconsin and Canada in his boyhood instilled his love of angling. After college in Colorado, Fred avidly pursued trout, first as a spin fisherman and then as a fly fisherman. As a young man and experienced fly fisherman, Fred and his fishing friends traveled the Rocky Mountain West, Canada, the sub arctic and Alaska. Fred loved float planes and flying in Alaska so much, he learned to fly and he now holds a Commercial Pilot's license. Next, Fred ventured into the jungles of Costa Rica and developed his love for Tarpon and Snook fishing. That prompted his move to Southwest Florida to further pursue these magnificent game fish and his love of angling.
Today, Fred is "living the dream" as a licensed Charter Captain and Fishing Guide in Southwest Florida. "I find a lot of satisfaction in meeting people from thru out this country and the world and and giving them a great fishing experience here on my local waters. What fun!"
